He also tuned down the guitar and brought it back to a standard tuning by using a capo. I think this makes it easier to do hammer on and pull off I think. Going to try now if its true :)

No, although the hammer-on's are masterful as well. It's just those few tapping harmonics that he does that sound so melodious and warm.

no it is a method of playing the track. it is universal in all types of genres it is used in. but is not a genre in itself and i stick by this |
