Check out your cleaning products. It's everywhere. Most American Jews will eat whatever I serve them, with the exception of pork. I know because I love to cook & I have Jewish friends. They never ask & don't seem to care if I use Kosher products. Even these Jewish Americans are forced to pay a Kosher fee for foods that aren't clearly labeled 'Kosher'. That's unfair to me, to most Americans, and even to most Jews who, in America, are more likely atheist for all practical purposes. According to research done by 'ssstealth': Interesting! Just did a bit of 'googling' on the subject at hand. The "Circle U" marking is really an "O" surrounding the "U" which stands for "Orthodox Union". "The letter "D" indicates that the item contains dairy products."
