MJ personifies competitor. They said Drexler was right behind Jordan and gaining ground. I blame the media for the ass whipping he got. Drexler is the man but the worst thing you can do with Mike is to give him a reason to prove why he is the best. Kobe rather would not shoot or play like himself to make a point to his team. MJ destroyed the league to prove a point to the world

this why you draft for talent not position. If you got drexler who has the ball handling skills of magic, the finger roll, huge vertical and scoring machine you would think that theres no need to select another shooting guard right? Portland could have had drexler and jordan duo right from the start and i guess mike made them pay for skipping on him in this series. |
