This is a photostory of my visit to The Auschwitz in Oswiecim, Poland. This was one of the main concentration camps used by Hitler for purpose of work camps, slavery, and the eventual attempted and failed extermination of the Jewish race, homosexuals, and people with disabilities. Among these millions of victims were several other beautiful souls from diverse backgrounds that gave or had their lives stolen in the events of WWII. The Auschwitz-Birkenau is probably the most well-known of all the concentration camps. A short bus ride from Krakow on a snowy, winter's morning in December 2004. A few of the older pictures are taken from various sources to show comparisons between "then" and "now." All obviously "new or current" photos were taken by myself. This may be graphic for some, PG-13 rating due to WWII photos of the atrocities that took place here. Please visit the official web site of the Memorial Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau at http://www.auschwitz-muzeum.os... Pray for the peace of Israel. The pictures in this montage (aside from 3 that are public domain from historical record) are of my own taken by me personally. The song used in this montage is written and performed by GIORA FEIDMAN & RONIT SHAPIRA-OYF'N PRIPETSHOK / NACHT AKTIO UMG. Full permission of use and rights to use this song on my montage are freely given by this author. I give them many special thanks.

Secrets of Nazi Camp Brothels emerge decades onJul 11, 2007 Alexandra HudsonKAMPEN, Netherlands, (Reuters)- Nazi commander Heinrich Himmler had ordered the creation of Camp Brothels in 1941. His logic was--male prisoners would work harder if offered the incentive of sex, & if only a few had this privilege it would crush solidarityThe German women staffed them were too scarred by the experience to speak of it200-300 gentiles from the camp were forced to work in 10 camp brothels"

I went here myself and trust me, you can sense the shrieks . It is no surprise that when the Red Army and the Polish partizans liberated this place, they were totally shocked from what they saw. It is not unheard of of them saying things lke "MY GOD! What happened here?" "This place looks like Hell!"If Hell had one (or a few more) place on earth, it would be in Oświęcim-Birkenau Jasenovac, Trzeblinka, and Buchenwald

Thank you for sharing. Though I have never been to the concentration camp, I can smell the stench of death just looking at this video. Thank you for making the camp come alive for all of us. No one should ever forget the horror.

that's the saddest thing that remained from the Hitler's Germany. It'll always remind about the sick ideology that wanted world to be ideal for Germans.

Wow, talk about hell on earth. Killing people on the basis of their faith. Evil is pretty absolute. God Bless all of those people that were murdered there. I visited there in 1996, incredible its like a museum of murder.

I learned this song as a young child and never associated it with such terrible things until now. One day I will go to this ugly place and pay my respects.

There was also an epizode that world refuses to remember. Polish Home Army cpt. Pilecki went there as a volountieer. He gathered information then organized an escape. He brought that info to US President, who never belived that Auschwitz was true.

Auschwitz 1, was built in the abandoned buildings of Polish 6th Horse Artillery Regiment.
