phat shout to melvin bliss and his son and allll his accomplishments..when i hit the floor or am spinning this is one of my favsultramag mc's for mc ultra sampled this joint as you all know..glad to hear mel bliss is still here with us...peace king 1leggs

it should be the Winstons' "Amen Brother". it's been sampled HEAVILY by the DnB genre i think.there should even be a video about the importance about that break...

This is "Mel JR" & i have posted info on my dad currently, he still sings & so do i. We are thrilled that there is still an interest in this song which was a b-side to his other song called:"reward", we no longer have copies of these songs(though i think he has a reel 2 reel)but he still performs/is for hire & has two children. He grew up in chicago, is now single & his muse is "Nat King Cole". He is a passionate gemini when it come to music & is into helping others with their craft...holla!!! |
