if the hiccups were caused by the ir lights falling out of the camera's view, wouldn't backing up fix it?

JUST IMAGINE WHAT THEY COULD DO IF THE FEATURE IN THIS VIDEO WOULD BE CONNECTED WITH 3D HOLOGRAMM CREATION USING HEADTRACKING DESCRIBED IN VIDEO ( Head Tracking for Desktop VR Displays using the WiiRemote) THEY COULD MAKE VERY REALISTIC LIGHT SABRE.

now this is what wii games should have, it would be difficult with the "hiccups" but if they can minimize it, i would buy the next game like this

In the mid 90's I worked as a tester on a project using the nintendo powerglove which did positioning by ultrasonics. The glove transmitted 2 different frequencies, received by three mic's on the monitor. With that you had yaw pitch and roll until the plane of the speakers on the glove lost one of the mics. The cable powering the glove passed serial data for the standard button pad & 4 position resistance values per finger(4). This allowed gesture recognition for interactive VR controls.
