the rpg29 is 18kgs but the javelin system is 25kg plus as its all electronic sometimes you get something called a programming error in which case the missile would rather go all over the place than hit its target atleast with a weapon like the rpg7, ak47 etc theres bugger all that can go wrong with them

RPG7 is a nato designation it has a different meaning all over the world, like china has there own exact copy of the RPG7 which theyve designated the type 69 its the same with all soviet weapons like the SVD sniper rifle etc.

Well it's RPG both in English and Russian, but in Russian it's РПГ which reads as "Er-Pe-Ge" and means Ручной Противотанковый Гранатомет. As I understand the abbrev. is Russian, hence it's correct to call it Hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher. But this baby was "lucky", the same abbrev. can be used in English AND have a meaningful translation, unlike KGB for instance, which has no meaning in English.

Well, no, the Panzerfaust is also no Bazooka, but has the trait of being expendable, since it's WW2 origins, while the RPG can be reloaded. It is similar in many aspects, but not of the same class. But honestly: For the price of the relatively cheap Panzerfaust 3, you can order 5-8 rounds for the RPG-7. It may be a bit weak today, but the price tag makes it attractive worldwide. And nobody here crushes the USA without asking Germany first. There ain't no good world war without us! :-P

The RPG isn't a Panzerfaust. It's a standard early anti-tank weapon- The US and other countries have their own as well, which are just as influenced from the German design.
