Great live performance the Jazz giant and legendary Paul Desmond & Dave Brubeck

Paul Desmond had a *complete* technical command of his instrument - a virtuoso of the very highest order. Instead of showing his technique as technique - how fast can we play Donna Lee? - he *used* it to make music.Playing a lot of notes is easy. Playing every note perfectly is hard.Paul Desmond = The Bomb.

Joe Morello cracks me up at 35 seconds with his "air drums" and Paul follows with a musical joke as he begins to play. I love the humor and interaction between this legendary quartet. Thanks for posting!
