no its because of the recent laser attack on australian planes and stuff. some dumb kids were coordinating "attacks" on planes it stuffs up the planes gps or something idk

there's actualy a feteral law that makes it ilegal to point high powered lasers into the sky probaly because people would think they are from extra terestrials or something lolmaybe you just need a permit to do it
