Well punk is inside R´n´R world. There´s no doubt The Exploited is not Buddy Holly but them both are Rock... and Punk began with Iggy Pop and RAMONES so the sound is made in USA, but I agree with you about Punk way of life and think is british ;)

White Riot actually was written about how whites should rise up and rebel against the government like the blacks had already done in the UK. He first thought up the song by watching West Indians rebel in the UK. Joe and the CLash for that matter have always been big fans of and taken a lot of influences from black music like reggae, blues, and jazz. You're an idiotic twit.
