Chevy Chase was not like a stand up comedian who tells jokes with a punch line; he is more like a behavioral comedian; he is funny for the things he does and one-liners he says in his movies. I love his Vacation and Christmas movies. Remember his cousin Eddy? the "big bulging man"? ha ha ha.

Both, the glass of water and the flute fall down onto the floor. At the beginning, the conga (drum) stand looks like an end-table but evidently it has no glass on top o fit, that's why the glass of water and the flute fall on the floor.
