Montage of clips of the F-22 airshow demo including cobras, backflips, super-high-alpha flight, the Raptor hovering with its nose pointed straight up, some super-fast pitch-ups, and some "vapor" (sonic shock condensation cones and wingtip vortex contrails) at the very end. Sweet, sweet stuff.As we know, the F-22 is pretty much invisible in the battlefield (in simulated wargames, F-22 pilots always kill everyone else before being detected), has the fastest cruise speed of any airplane currently flying (MACH 1.5-1.75 depending on whom you ask), is powerful enough to break the sound barrier while flying straight up in a vertical climb while fully loaded, and is extremely advanced in how it manages, shares, and integrates information and presents it to the pilot. This weekend, the USAF has allowed one more thing about the F-22 to be shown to the public: its maneuvering capabilities. This video is a montage of clips from the F-22's first full tactical airshow demo (performed in Langley this weekend by Major Paul Moga) plus a few other F-22 clips from YouTube. I don't think I need to tell you that no American fighter has ever enabled a pilot to do these kinds of aerobatics:

i love this shit. if you havent been to an air show with F-22s i highly recommend going. its so much cooler seeing them do that right above you cus its so much closer and louder and as it falls and spins your heart stops cus you swear it looks like its gona crash but it just glides right out of it. cool stuff

As I said...: It's not the Harrier we should be comparing this thing to, the Eurofigher is the only plane that can match the f-22 for maneuverability.

uhh no, the harrier still lacks the maneuverability of the Raptor, as well as the speed, avionics, and of course climb rate.

I love the F-22. 70,000 LB's of thrust just makes your jaw drop. I saw this bad boy at the Miramar air show. It's such a beautiful beast. It will completely dominate any other fighter in the world, hands down.

I don't see why people are trying to compare the Harrier with the F-22. The only plane thich can match the F-22's maneuverability is the Eurofighter typhoon.
