Dusty Springfield has a voice so full of life and empathy I have not heard her equal She will be sorely missed but she has left us with a fantastic music legacy. She is truly one of the great singers

Why?Helen ShapiroPetula ClarkeLulu (can't say Shout! or 'To Sir With Love', aren't 'full' of emotion)[There are others from the 60's too]Then on to: Alison Moyet for instanceNow: Beth Rowley (Pop, blues AND soul, el perfecto!)Of course, it's nice the Dusty has created this 'awakening', so maybe listen to a few more, especially from the 60's. |
