Generators at plants get power from fuel much more efficiently. And if you charge your EV from solar panels on your roof, that's even better.

1. dosen't 200 pounds of batteries defeat the purpose just a little?2. no lathe, mill i assume.3. i want a few of those motors.4. again, wall charging. power from coal station or worse. its not better...

Thanks for the comment. Actually, I consider this project to be remarkably simple, except for the wiring, whcih I had my buddy do. So simple in fact, that I was able to do it with no previous experience. It makes you wonder why the big manufacturers have been dragging their feet for so long.

Dude. This was NOT simple. I dig it, but be for real. That transformation was NOT simple. I'm just sayin....

Check out rqrileyDOTcom 4 recumbant bicycle plans, or car plans, one hybrid has 125/225 mpg) The recumbant bike is called "Ground Hugger" and there are short vid clips of it and other plans/projects. These use typically all or a combo of a few of materials: wood, fiberglass, carbon fiber, steel. Oh and foam..Fiberglass or a bit of carbon fiber over foam and glass is way to go. I have plans for the Trimuter (80s tech still sold for $100) EV which were given to me,and I am willing to give 2 anyone.. |
