well shit though, you don't understand the circumstances. The cold hard truth is, most people don't listen to good hip-hop anymore. Go look at the billboard charts, it IS full of garbage and crappy lyrics only with a catchy chorus. Crank that, Shake that laffy taffy, party like a rockstar, it's all shitty rap. But it's catchy, and that's what puts money in these people's pockets.
