the banshee was a 1988 concept, not late 90s. it was also only a technology / new idea platform to provide a glimpse for what they had planned for the 4th gen firebirds

the KIFT was a prototype for a late 90's Pontiac Banshee. But I don't think it ever went into production anywhere. Was supposed to be the Pontiac car to hang with the Chevy Corvette.

Its also nice to see Jay and his crew built this fully functional. If you will notice in the movie many of his side LED lights are not on.(Also they turned his VU meter upside down in the movie.)
