People who've had hard lives, yet are successful and pleasant to others are far more motivational and inspirational than people who tell you how you shouldn't be depressed. It seems everyone tried to help you out in their own way. Which is kind of flattering, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will help. It's okay to feel down, because it gives some people time to reflect and sometimes I think people who are constantly happy are kidding themselves or dense.

I hate it when people use the "My life has been harder than yours" routine. Everyone has to go through their own life with their own problems and own perceptions. It's rude to tell people that your own life has been harder so they shouldn't complain (and what qualifies as harder changes based on perception. Physical illness, mental illness, money issues, relationship issues, lack of motivation or satisfaction in life).. Without problems there's no living. Without struggle we would never achieve.

Or school.Or family.Or a job.You see, I have a different approach to this problem. Money. I have never seen anyone who had a lot of money be depressed. Why? The have nothing to be depressed about, to the extent that any problem solving method can achieve. This packing up...'thing' probably only works for you.

dude, I speak from experience that you can... Unless you got wife and kids to look after to, you can always just get away from anything. I have never been rich, but I got the balls to go somewhere else with my meager savings and settle my self in a different spot. It can always be done, it's only up to your will to do it...It's not a self-help message, it's realism. The epiphany can also come from difficulty. It's good for you, believe me.

Yeah, because we can all just pack up and go somewhere unknown.
