I appreciate that. There's exactly the same amount of data to support the belief that purple elephants farted the universe into existence, yet people feel compelled to insinuate Chrisianity into the laws of a free country, and have the audacity to judge others for not sharing that belief. In fact, that judgement is inherent in the religion itself: believe what we do, or you're damned. The *nerve* of that philosophy astounds me.

ok sorry man i misread your comment.believe me, i'm just as disapproving of religion as you probably are.i just think that if we were to repeat the ideas of religion by extinguishing the beliefs of others that would be a great mistake. but now that i see that's not what you're saying, i understand.

It's not the desire; it's the actualy of inhibiting it. I am not attemtpting to exert pwoer to make you believe something; religion has always done that-- even today. Expressing an opinion that religion is a lie is not the same thing as makign it illegal, or punishing you for your beliefs. Learn the distinction, little pilgim.
