No doubt she's a talented wahine, but Hawaii is such a little place and unless you've maybe visited or are from there, the references are insignificant when compared to places like New York, Jersey, Philly, L.A., so on and so forth. I like the idea that she gives the islands props, but I have a good feeling that she'd top out higher than 58 if she steered away and went more mainstream. But, go get 'em anyway Shella! =)

Nice silencers! The idea I believe is to start putting these streets and towns in people outside Hawaii's ears and vocabulary so they become familiar with the HI experience. Her market is Japan, Hawaii and mainland where she has performed numerous times opening and featured on "A" list shows. Also she earned a spot on the Billboard Top 100 R&B/ Hip Hop charts this year topping off at number 58 in the country. Not bad for a first time independent artist from Hawaii!

Shella. Pretty local girl and though the music's catchy, the market(if she references Hawaii in all her songs) for her music imo will remain solely in Hawaii. I know what she's talking about 'cause I'm from there, but outside of that, other people won't know what she's talking about. Waialae, Punahou, ai'sus?

Yo this lady got more rap skills than most guys out right now. This is real talent if you ask me. Plus she singing and I think thats Japanese she putting in the raps. Bilingual??/ OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Did I mention that she fine az hell?Where can I buy Shella's CD? Anyone please help...
