Not necessarily at all, if that was the case, why would musicians write songs for everyone?Chris Martin was taking a jab at every song he released during a recent interview I saw on YouTube in their converted bakery studio and called this a 'rip-off of Radiohead'. If you know anything about Radiohead, their songs are very open to interpretation and usually don't make much logical sense. They're usually based on feeling. Can I explain this song? Not really, but I can feel the understanding.

I like the new album for ColdPlay. I think it's the best of 2008. but I really miss the old ColdPlay who make Trouble and Spies.

when i listen to early things like this, i hear so much elliot smith, nick drake.. chris martin's simple, defined arrangements do his songwriting such better justice than their new work.

New Coldplay song reminded me of this one. Except, of course, this one requires a bit more talent and compositional prowess. Ah, I miss old Coldplay.
