i think meg white should add more to the songs they play, she is not a good drummer in my opinion. it would add alot more depth to their music if meg white played some good stuff. jack is amazing and she isnt

I don't think Meg White is particularly praised just because of Jack White. If anything she's praised because of how she fits into the theme of The White Stripes and because she's not afraid to play the way she does. I wasn't criticizing your comment so much as defending what many have said about Meg White's drumming in the past. Much love to any White Stripes fan!

I hope it was worth typing all of that, only to make a fool of yourself. I like The White Stripes and I never have said I don't. I typed 'She is only praised because of Jack White'. Which is true. If Jack White was not vocals and a good guitar player nobody would notice her. You doubt that?

If you haven't realized it, their music is based on minimalistic principles. They've said countless times before how they've created a box for themselves and how their music isn't necessarily about evolving. Meg used to wear pig tails even as to show that her approach to drumming is like a child. What I don't get is why you even bother watching this video clip if you don't like their music but I guess you have freedom of speech. Congratulations. I hope it was worth it.
