How wonderful to see this! "the magic show" with Doug Henning was my first broadway show as a child, and I LOVED it! I remember the "mismatched woman" illusion from the show. I may not be a magic fan any longer but, Doug Henning made me fall in love with the magic of live performance and I am a huge theatre buff to this day! God bless you, D.H.!!!

My final word on the televised showman of my youth, and I know I'll get some static for this drawn out chorus...Akk, what the hey. Doug's acts may have since been heavily surpassed daunting technical wizardry, but there's only anorexic odds that his upbeat stage presence will ever be overshadowed. What an emotionally trying shame to lately discover the guy has performed the terminal vanishing act and levitated to that tragic circle in the sky.

this must have been on the The Dick Cavett Show in the 70s. Doug Henning did this trick a few times on TV were the two women would be rejoined and half their cloths would change. I've not seen a recent magic show do the same trick, since Doug did it.
