I personally hope obama does get his cap and trade...it will put the liberals out of power longer then jimmy carter did..the only sad thing is once you get a tax it seems really difficult to get rid of it

ok..I am waiting with eager anticipation..I must warn you it didn't convince figure 1.3E to show a hot spot..I went and looked..still homogeneous warming there

In a recent talk, U.S. President-elect Obama was very explicit in planning a carbon cap-and-trade system to reduce CO2 emissions, with an 80% reduction goal by 2050 (John McCain also supported cap-and-trade). To me, this is a clear sign of how far the world, following the universal lead of science, has moved past arguing whether CO2 reduction is necessary, and is discussing how to accomplish it. Those who want their voices heard rather than ignored would be wise to engage in that discussion.

An Inconvenient Truth has instilled fear in enough people, enough trepidation, that an intelligence agency would be remissed to not have a contingency for it.But this does not necessarily mean they have an official position that global warming, which ended years ago, is caused by man.
