i agree with you folk, jackie made it happen in his time frame, as far as the king, to me, JAMES BROWN!, and once again to ME! if jackie wilson you like, i like too, but not the king! JAMES BROWN, did what? 50-60 years of music? not just by the years. but by the versatility. LL Cool J keeps on, he gone be the JAMES BROWN of hip hop! think about it???

Jackie Wilson terrified the music establishment of the time, due to the fact that lots of young white girls were dreaming about this young black man... so he was often saddled with lame ass white bread background singers to soften his sex appeal.Jackie is the KING!

that's crazy how back in the day, they had white dancers on stage and had white folks on ablum covers of BLACK FOLKS! i wonder, who was the 1st black artist to have his own face on the cover? i know yall gone correct me and tell me. you tube folks know everything!

Was Elvis abble to imagine, to write such a song as "To be Loved" as Jackie did?Too much emotion and strengh on the tons and lyrics.I'm sure i won't never be abble to perform this song correctly, but a lot of people can imitate Elvis voice style. Isn'it?

I do agree with primesuspect1200, however when you listen to Elvis you can note that he didn't have an irreplecable voice. So many can imitate his voice ton, but how many can perform as well as a Sam Cokke, a Jackie Wilson and so many others. The greatest are simply inimitable. At last, there were so many white singers a huge than Elvis by there voices. Elvis is like an historical fake and exageration. If your not convinced just compare Elvi's with most of the singers of those era.
