hate breeds hate and compassion and understanding will teach as such. if only American jails were this disciplined...then maybe, JUST MAYBE, we wouldn't keep having all these repeat offenders. no one can thrive on hatred or fear tactics. that only causes more problems. kudos to CPDRC...you are a great model that ALL jails should follow. keep up the good work!

I guess we can think of it, being like the military. Its a harsh place, but the ideas, and systems in place, do much better to rehabilitate prisoners, it would seem. It dosent stop the prisoners networking, and learning new criminal skills. But it does stop the secular nature, that prison gangs use like a cone of silence. I guess, westernized jails could learn something, but if one is disillusionized, with society, then, theres not much hope. Unless we reprogram them. Like in cuba ;)
