I noticed a few posts mentioned Chuck Marlow. Along with remembering him from All-Star wrestling, he was a main-stay on the Indy 500 radio calls with "The Voice of the 500" Sid Collins and for many years afterwards......

WOW... mid 60's Bruiser and Crusher! What a gem and what a rarity! I've got a ton of Bruiser / Crusher matches on tape, from the 1950's, 70's and 80's; however very little of their footage exists from the 60's, B/C best years. Thanks so much for this clip.

One of Chuck's son's used to manage a gym I trained in. Are you married to that son?

Crusher and Bruiser were the greatest show in wrestling ever.

Wow this is great stuff. In 1968 here in St. Louis, The Bruiser and promoter Sam Muchnick decided it was about time to make Bruiser a good guy, since he was by now a good guy in Chicago and other midwest cities, so they scripted a feud between Bruiser and the hated Black Jack Lanza (managed by Pretty Boy Bobby Heenan) and from then on Dick the Bruiser was the most beloved wrestler in St. Louis |
