"Coke Ennyday" is obviously a parody on Sherlock Holmes, who used cocaine between mysteries. Interesting that "coke" was slang for cocaine back then as now. What sort of outfit is his "Dr. Watson" wearing? (Dr. Watson was in the British army in Afghanistan, if that helps.)Holmes's hansom cab is replaced by a "checkered cab." I'll bet this thing is full of puns and allusions that we miss.
