Thanks for the post. I will allow someone else to set the record straight for you on this based upon their personal experience since those who have fell prey to it know best. It has to do with the fact that overdraft loan interest is calculated completely different than a standard APR. You may want to call the manager of the bank you worked for so they can explain as it is actually TRUE. Of course, we won't even talk about the NSF fees at $35 a piece to help one get to the overdraft loan.

this woman has no idea what she's talking about. i work in a bank and deal with this stuff everyday. watch at 4:30 where she talks about "overdraft loans" aka "overdraft line of credit." she says the average apr is 20,000%... she's a lil bit off, way off actually. i work in a bank and the standard overdraft line of credit interest apr in the industry is akin to that of a credit card: 18% or so. oh well, she was only off by 19,982%, close enough i suppose.

i think this is made by the cc companies. just about all debit card companies (banks) let you (or have) a fraud protection plicy.
