i think metallica got in a bit of trouble with this song in the early 90s.apprently there was some speculation that this was refering to the war in kuwait or something.that might have put them off playing this live.

I had to pick a song to use for a school project and I used Dont Tread On Me and I got an A hahahaha awesome. Great song.
