I saw the David Sanborn and Chris Botti tour in Tucson, AZ in 2006, and this guy is the meanest trumpeter I have ever heard. This song is a shining favorite of mine.

This set is old. waht you saw was his latest. I saw him several times in indy. This is one of the greatest trumpeters of all time.

ok the song is great and the setting and the atmosphere is great too as is the mood..but ..compared to the backup bad i saw in Knoxville TN back in feb this band sux...lol i mean his band pwns Billy kilson on drums(perhaps the best drummer in the world..mark whitfield(mr.play everything)and his pianist is amazing..didnt catch his name but wow lol he does this thing w/ the godfather song that is holarious..lol wow u just gotta see it..

What an incredible performance. I own the DVD of this and still play it all the time....never get tired of Chris Botti...ever.

I got to see Chris Botti perform in Kansas City in 2007. He is absolutely a fabulous trumpet player. His backup band is great. This man is loaded with talent. If you get an opportunity to see him in concert, please do. It is well worth the time. His music reminds me of sailing on the Mediterranean, wind blowing thru my hair, with a cool drink in my hand.
