Elvis will always have the true gift of singing no matter how long he has been gone. God gave him that wonderful special gift and talant to use his voice to the best of his ability and I believe he did. None of us know where God is going to take us on our journey of life only God knows and only God knows what is in store for us in the future so we should make the best of it each and every day.

Why do you have to bring in that? Elvis was a caring and generous man who was known for helping poor people regardless of race...alot of donations he made were done anonymously. Music is there to be sung and played its like going to school some make use of the oppurtunity some dont...Elvis was a gifted singer and performer who wouldve made a success whatever style he performed. He was and remains the King, fact that even people like you BigtallblackAll2 watched this proves that.

Just for the record, Elvis helped black people as well as white, and while he did have the regular problems of most people with too much money and not enough sense, he really only wanted to sign gospel, it was his agent and fans that got him to sing everything else. I wonder how he would've done if he had stuck to gospel as he wanted. Would we still have him???

He was an excellent singer...but the drugs got the best of him. I can't believe they actually sell "season tickets to Graceland," though. XD Okay, so it's where Elvis lived...so what? I can't say that I agree with calling him "the king." Jesus Christ, whom this song "Amazing Grace" was written about and also regarding a Christian's not-always easy walk...is the focus of this song. Christ is The King. |
