"Der Messias" im Jahr 1742 in Dublin zum ers-ten Mal aufgeführt,war der Höhepunkt von Hän-dels Schaffenskunst.Der Tag,der Premiere in London ,wurde von den Einwohnern wie ein Feiertag begangen;was auch heute nicht verwundert......ein Meisterwerk!!!
