Useless companies? Are you kidding me? You're calling companies who provide crystal clear radio broadcasts with no commercials and no reception loss useless? This video fails. Why don't you guy shove your useless FM radio up your own ass you stupid bitch.

I hope you payed royalties for that howard stern scene, hate to see your little show sued.and that's true who doesn't want free commercial radio with good reception that you don't lose every 10 minutes .

I work for Sirius too and I couldn`t agree more with you, the pricings will go down and hopefully the shares will go up, well of course they will but, yea know lol and yea she`s a total airhead, alot of people do cancel the service everyday, but you have lots of people subscribing to the service. So its goes to show what she knows

Well said. I work at Sirius and nothing but good can come from this merger. Both companies have spent billions of dollars working against each other and once that comes to an end, subscription price will come down the quality of the product will go up and the industry will become profitable. As far as this airhead goes, she's probably getting boinked by somebody over at Clear Channel or something. Who cares what she has to say?

i actually work @ xm radio and i guess your right. satellite radio is useless. i mean who would want commercial free music channels and programming that is far more extensive and in depth that any FM format could dream of. i guess not the 9 million subscribers.

From a business point of view (reducing costs, defragmenting/reducing consumer confusion in the marketspace), I believe yes. From a power consumer point of view, unless you count "reducing the risk that your satellite radio becomes a brick due to the company folding" as a benefit, I think the similarity, both from a content and from a hardware point of view, of both satellite radio companies, the benefits are there, but they're minimal.
