Silverman is very funny she wouldnt be where she is today if she wasnt i have been a fan for years BUT i can say that sometimes her performance is laking but that true with many comics theres bad shows and good shows. You people just need to stop debating and start laughing forget morals and ethics and all that BS if its funny laugh, dont be annilitcal your whole lives. Fuck!

I think its evident now that this can gone from a debate concerning the morality and potentially racist nature of the sketch, to a debate arguing whether or not this is actually funny. Intended racist jokes can just as easily become racist statements if the joke is seemingly unfunny. It doesn't take a great deal or intellect or wit to say that Mexican stinks; yet in America that sort of statement would normally be followed by collective laughter. I suppose it comes down to sense of humour...
