the drive channel controls are limited compared to the head and 6L6 models, does this limit flexibility?

Oh, like "c'est intelligEnt." He uses a lot of cognates. Thanks. The feature is not intelligent, though, BTW. You can barely hear the reverb, even on max. I've got to buy a pedal or maybe mod mine to get a decent reverb, despite it having an Accutronics spring tank. Thanks too for the vid Manuln. Not many web samples of this amp.

He says that the reverb balance knob is something "intelligent", means clever, smart

My strat has the one tone control wired as a master,to all pups..and the other tone control blends the neck pickup in with whatever config. you are switched to....the country stuff was on the bridge pup with the tone at around 7.I have the standard delta tone pups that came in the guitar.I tried out about 15 varieties of small combo ,downsizing from taking a fender twin and a marshall halfstack to every gig....the H+K does a pretty good job of both sounds,if not perhaps as "fat" as the twin.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. Specific settings ie p/up, and numbers would be awesome for that country clean stuff. I thought it was bridge pup, which you can't control tone for on a strat? I feel so much better about buying it after seeing your vid. Thanks. |
