When the gases converted to carbon dioxide and then lost heat, there was less pressure inside the bottle due to Carbon Dioxide being less dense. Energy converted oxygen to carbon dioxide and then that energy was converted into low pressure.

What happens is, theres lesser atmosphere pressure inside the bottle, and the nearest source of molecules is the egg.If however, place the egg somewhere in space, it swells up, the action is more the egg than any pressure around it (which of course the air outside the bottle just helps pushing it). |
