This book is one of my all-time favorites. I watched your video (all 5 parts), it was a great experience.

1972...ha! This is almost funny. We are 3 years away from what the Mayans labeled the end of the age. Hmmmm. We'll see. The computers here are hilarious. If it was all so bad in '72 we would have all killed eachother by now. Guess 1972 was too much for the 'Brady' types. Lot of things have gotten worse for sure...but some things are better...or just SEEM better!? Bottom line: the Universe will welcome our honesty and best efforts OR it will be FINE without US screwing it up.

For God's sake, it's just a girl buying a doll!I like the music, though. Those early synths had character.

Aha....I love the 70's. I also just love how seriously everything is discussed in this film...like the little girl with the doll.

in the jewish book of ethics it says plain and simply "the more possessions man has, the more worries he has" (e.g. direct correlation)I do believe that there are definitive advantages and drawbacks of these technological upgrades.. one advantage being that we have more time for other things by using prepackaged and premade products/materials while a disadvantage could be the lack of consistency these choices grant us

I remember seeing this movie in college many years ago, seems living in 1972 was much more predictable that in 2008! |
