I got this song off of a CD compilation out of the back of a Rolling Stone magazine, snail mail order. Thunderkiss 69 was on there along with others. What a complation. This song got three college idiots (me being one) moshing in a dorm room just out of the blue! What a song, thanks for posting, brings me back years on a late night of All Hollows Day party at home ready to crash. Ciao. burp.

What no video? There are two videos for this song, one for each version (EP version and LP version). Very different versions. The first video has young members of Thrush Hermit (Joel Plaskett, Rob Benvie) playing spin the bottle. The LP version has Sloan being shot from inside a car window.. I forget what happens, other than a squeegy on fire.

There is a video for this song. I've seen it on MuchMusic. I'm surprised it has never been uploaded on YouTube.

I wish I knew: I just don't remember, andybodor. I have two versions of this song, one's the promo distributed as store play copies, the other the album. I can't remember a video, but that doesn't mean a thing: there was a lot going on at the time. I *do* recall that Sloan came right out of the blue, the industry was amazed as their this song shot up the charts, and reps were unusually pleased. They were pretty proud of the band. Alas, I just don't recall a video.

they didnt break off, geffen dropped them, and they stuck to the label they made

Sloan could've been huge, they broke it off witih Geffen. They stuck to indie lables. to avoid being sell-outs i presume. Can you produce good music and make it big? it's becoming less and less possible. moreso in Canada. Virtually no global representation.

I know, I can't help it, I scream when I hear Rush and the Barenaked Ladies, too, even though they're really good (overexposure?)
