As someone has already rightly pointed out on an earlier comment, the girls who sang this song in Lipps Inc were black, this video dates back to a time of bands like Hot Gossip, Pans People, Legs & Co etc... who danced and lip synced to original songs when the original artists couldnt appear or there was no video available. There is no mystery. You can see the blonde haired dancer in this video singing her own song if you type in Shine Up by Doris D and the Pins.

The Black Girls are the "Real Thing". I think what they did was "wrong" and insulting but when you think about it, it was done when Martha Wash couldn't join C & C Music Factory or Black Box.

They did baby. I found the "real" thing on a subscriber known as d13g0cba. If you go to her website you'll find the "real" thing. These ladies should be sued.
