the noise at 30 secconds is the hydraulics i think, i have an a320 video landing at manchester and you can hear the same noise when the gear goes down, but i do agree with you, the strike can be heard clearly. Great video.

Triebwerkschaden wegen Vogelschlag. Da das defekte Triebwerk dann abgeschaltet wird, ist das Geräusch später nicht mehr zu hören.

Unfortunately he wouldn't have been allowed to film it- "Please switch off all electronic devices, tray-tables up, armrests down and seats forward please"And in that situation I somehow doubt he wouldn't have followed the safety instructions...
