you're probably right & cheesy is not the exact word for how i like this... my first language is a kind of dutch & things do get lost in translation, as in those subtitles ...i only meant to say that the great melody is about the only thing i like about this video...

my father actually named me after this song.. that's a lot better than VOF de kunst - Suzanne, which people start to sing when they meet me (from the Netherlands)

no wonder this guy has admirers both in the fan world and the musician set all over the globe. i've lost count of the amount of times i've read about a band or an artist listing their influences and naming leonard cohen. i'd love to know the final figure of how many music careers he's influenced. when he dies he'll leave a healthy crop of art he sowed behind for us all.
