If I'm not mistaken the "gaps" in the histogram also represent the lost or deleted information from the process you used to achieve your version of the image?? other then that Nicely shown, very informative. (not the way I would have done it, but I'm obsessive compulsive & don't want to loose any image detail. still I learned some new tricks, & look forward to seeing future tutorials.

Note the different shades of gray in the image. Unlike grayscale, B&W is just black and white.
