Hi Jennifer thanks again for your classes is helpfull as an additional study for me right now I'm taking some pronunciation classes but I find that my grammar gets in my way. Word connections are difficult is possible for you to tell us more about word connection. Thank you.

There is an airflow in both the voiced and unvoiced TH. The only difference is the silence or sound of your voice.

is there air coming out between your teeth when you pronounce the voiced "th"?

I'm not perfect either. When I get tired, my pronunciation can slip and "clothes" sounds like "close". I also know what you mean about the effects of living abroad. I had taken short trips (1-2months) to Russia in the past. Then I ended up living there for a 5-year stretch. I think my English slowly got worse as my Russian got better! It was nice to return home to the States and clean up my English. :) Let's hope that my next stint abroad won't cause my English to suffer!

spending 5 years on a foreign country can really take a hard blow on your accent. im having trouble with "clothes". overall very nice video.

Glad you like the lessons.I'm American. I'm from the Northeast. I have a standard North American accent, but I admit that on occasion I fall into bad habits. (E.g., my "g" in the "-ing" is sometimes hard)No one is perfect, but we all try to do the best we can. That's all we can and should ask of ourselves. :)
